Tutorials-Internet-Wireless Connect

Step One: On the bottom right-hand corner of your screen near your sound control and clock you will see two monitors. If you are not connected to the internet there will be a red x on top of the monitors, if you are connected the screens will be blue and have a globe on top of them.
If you are not connected located the icon and right click it.   

Step Two: When the menu comes up select Connect to a Network.

Step Three: All the networks that are available will come up in this screen. locate your wireless network (or if you are in a public wifi area such as Starbucks, a college, or an airport, locate their network). When you locate your network click on their name so they are highlighted. 

Step Four: When your wireless network is highlighted click on Connect at the bottom right hand of the box. 

Step Five: If there is a password on the network a screen will pop-up asking for the password. If it is your network you should know the password, if you are a public wifi area, you may need to pay a fee to the establishment to connect.  

Step Six: This is the screen that will pop-up as the computer is connecting to the network. 

Step Seven: If you successfully connected this will be the screen that will pop-up. Click on Close and you are on the internet!
