Step One: Click to open AVG 2011 

Step Two: When the program comes up it will look like this screen shot. Click Update Now to update your protection.

Step Three: This is what AVG will look like as it updates. When your AVG is up to date proceed to Step Four.

Step Four: Click on Scan Nowr to begin a scan. 

Step Five: Once the scan is complete delete all the items the scan found and you are finished.

CONTINUE IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR AVG'S AUTOMATIC SCAN DATE(S) OTHERWISE YOU ARE DONE AND CAN EXIT THE PROGRAM

Step Six: Select the Scan Options button.

Step Seven: Select Manage Scheduled Scans.

Step Eight:  Click on the Edit Scan Schedule button.

Step Nine: Customize your schedule scan settings. When you are complete save your settings and exit the program.
